Description
In 2007 DAAB became part of the FAAC Group. DAAB creates versatile systems with unique technology that has an emphasis on heavier applications with a large focus on 3 phase technology and inhouse developed transmissions.
The same drive units are used for both automating gates, doors and barriers with different bracketry making them suitable for all types of installation. Using an inverter also enables the use of single phase power supply with the power of 3 phase.
The results are that the products have a long service life.
As a general rule, DAAB is offered for large gates where our range of Hydraulic Operators such as the 400 range is not suitable or in the case of the 400 SBS Long, if it is too slow.
• If there is High Intensive and Continous Use is expected.
• Areas heavily effected by wind or if the gates are fully clad or infilled with Palisade fencing.
• If the gates are mounted off large pillars and it is not possible to reach with a standard operator or with a Articulated Arm such as the 390/392 Operators.
• When Opening and Closing speeds are critical such as Rapid Response Vehicle Gates or security gates for Police Stations, Prisons, Embassies, etc

DAAB M10
Heavy-duty motor for very large gates up to 12m / 1500kg per leaf, with double worm gear for strength and precision. Self-locking, works down to -45°C, aluminium housing with bronze gears, and 1- or 3-phase power options (230–500 VAC).
