The optimum barrier boom for your application
Only the right boom makes a barrier more than a housing with a motor. In order to enable you to individually adapt vehicle access control barriers to your requirements we offer not only a variety of boom lengths, but also numerous extras with which you can increase the functionality of your barriers: illumination elements and expansion sets increase boom visibility and offer space for signs and advertising.
Climb-over prevention and grating not only prevent the access of persons, but also effectively keep pedestrians back, while bending and folding booms also allow use of a barrier where there is insufficient space for a rigid boom. The following table shows which booms fit which access barrier system and vice versa.
VarioBoom
- For barrier widths of up to 6 m
- Breakaway flange (option in Parking Pro)
- For Access, Access-L, Access Pro, Access Pro-L
VarioBoom with LED illumination
- For barrier widths of up to 6 m
- Improved visibility due to energy-efficient lighting elements
- LEDs are red while closed and green when open

VarioBoom with extension
- For barrier widths up to 5 m
- Extension set offers space for information and advertising
- For Access, Access-L, Access Pro, Access Pro-L
Articulated boom
- For barrier widths of up to 4.5 m
- Articulated boom permits use with low room heights
- For Access, Access-L, Access Pro, Access Pro-L, Parking Pro
MicroBoom
- For barrier widths of up to 6 m
- Can be combined with beam skirt and anti-climb protection (option)
- For Access Pro-H
MicroBoom XL
- For barrier widths of up to 10 m
- Can be combined with beam skirt and anti-climb protection (option)
- For Access XL2 and Access XXL
Round boom (MicroBoom-T)
- For barrier widths of up to 3 m
- Swing-away flange protects the boom and terminal during collisions
- For all toll barriers
Soft boom (MicroBoom-AT)
- For barrier widths of up to 3 m
- Disengages during collisions without damaging vehicle
- For all toll barriers
MicroBoom (MicroBoom-S)
- For barrier widths of up to 3 m
- For all toll barriers Toll, Toll Pro and Toll HighSpeed
MicroBoom (MicroBoom H1)
- For barrier widths of up to 6 m
- Can be equipped with warning lights

Skirt
- Prevents crawling below the barrier
